Golden Eagle Cup Aberdeen Central

2021 — Aberdeen, SD/US

Aberdeen Central is excited to be hosting the Golden Eagle Cup in person this year! We are offering all South Dakota events. We have 3 rounds of IE's on Friday night with extemp draw and RT starting at 3:00. We are also offering Congress on Friday night. Congress will be a mix of Varsity and Novice Congress competitors.

All IEs and Debates will be using online ballots and comments. For IEs we have online ballots but paper comment sheets. ALL JUDGES MUST have an internet enabled device that they can type on and submit ballots. We are able to provide 5 IPADS. Please make sure you have your judges covered. If you are unsure- please bring an extra device with your team or contact me to reserve an IPAD.

Debate is Saturday with Round 1 starting at 9:30 AM. We are offering a novice, JV, and Varsity divisions of LD and PF. We are also offering Congress on Saturday. Debate has 5 preliminary rounds of debate with rounds 4 and 5 powered. Round 6 will be power matched for places, so you debate ranks- 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, 5 vs 6. I does mess with the final placings, but we should be able to figure it out.

We have school on Friday so please drop off on the WEST side of the school. NOT the front doors (east) because your bus will get stuck.
