On Friday, April 2, we will be offering four rounds of Lincoln-Douglas and Public Forum Debate. We will be using the March/April LD topic and kicking off the April Public Forum topic nice and early. We will NOT be hosting student congress. All events on Friday will be hosted synchronously using Zoom.
The IE portion of our tournament will have two separate divisions. We will hold asynchronous and synchronous versions of HI, DI, POI, PRO, POE, OO and INFO. Extemp events and impromptu will only be offered synchronously on Saturday. Duo will only be offered asynchronously, and videos will be used as well for final performances. Only split screen videos will be allowed in DUO.
The asynchronous and synchronous divisions will be completely separate. Students may enter in both divisions if they desire. Students may enter as many events as they would like. All asynchronous videos must be uploaded by Tuesday, March 30th at 7:00 PM.
On Saturday, April 3, we will hold a synchronous division in all individual events (no DUO or IDA). The tournament will consist of three preliminary rounds of competition followed by a final round to determine placing and State Championship Qualifiers.
