You will use this link to enter your school in the tournament. You should invite your coaches/debaters to your school’s Yaatly account and give them access to the platform after you have entered the event.

Please do not share the link, it’s just for entering your school - students/coaches should be able to see the tournament information after the manager of your school’s account has accepted the invitation.

Registration and Topic Announce will be held in the Yaatly room with the same name. On Friday Feb 5 from 8-8:30am PST, a representative from each school should check in to let the tournament know that you and all of your participants are online. There will be a brief roll call before each topic announce, please be on time to that so that we can keep the tournament running on time. We will use the google doc for most announcements, but will generally be available through Yaatly as well. Before each round, competition rooms will be generated on the main page.

Hopefully, we’ve each some experience with a virtual tournament. The key things to remember - if folks have technology issues, be willing to briefly pause the round to see if they can be dealt with. If technology issues are persistent (more than 5 minutes) you should navigate to the tab room and let the TD’s know what’s up. Persistent technology issues may require us to end the debate and move forward - which would be annoying and bad, but the tournament must go-on. We will aim to be flexible/kind administrators, you should aim to be flexible/kind judges and debaters.

We have also provided some informative links below explaining the software and how best to utilize it so as to avoid tech problems during the competition.
