How to read the schematics/pairings: 

ADLMON SA 

ADL= your team name 

MON=the day you take the debate class 

SA= you and your partners 1st letter of your last name 

Schematics= tell you which flight and round you debate and against which team and in  which room

THE SCHEDULE OF THE DAY 

Schedule 1: (Beginner & Novice Elementary / Beginner & Novice Middle School) 1. Check-in 9:00-9:50 

A. All debaters and teachers (coaches) log in to their Zoom Call (Separate for each division) 

B. All debaters and teachers (coaches) MUST CHANGE THEIR SCREEN NAME (THE SCREEN SHOULD INDICATE YOUR SCHOOL AND IF TOO LONG A NAME MAKE INITIALS Coaches put your last name so that we can move you to a round if you are a judge)  

C. When coaches and debaters have changed their screen name then the Zoom operator will place  you in a prep room and there the teacher/coach will take a count of the teams and confirm them.  (THIS IS VERY MPORTANT) 

Then please email your registration to the following emails: 

americandebatetournament@gmail.com americandebateleague@gmail.com D. 9:20-9:35 A.M., we will send you the round 1 schematic (Please review with your students) 

E. 9:35-9:45, the Zoom operator will send your round 1 flight A debaters to start at 10:00 A.M. Your round 1 flight B debaters will stay in the prep room until their debate starts at 11:10 A.M. 

F. Then the process will continue the rest of the day 

G. After your round 3 all students will return to the prep room until the awards ceremony starts  

H. At 4:20 P.M. the awards ceremony will start, and the operator will bring all students and debaters  to the main room and announce the awards (We will award medals to students and the Big Cups  for School Sweepstakes.
