6th Annual Cannibal Invitational

for the Super Grooviest Middle School Students Ever

Saturday, December 19, 9:30 a.m- 3:30 p.m.

You are invited to compete in a middle school speech and debate  tournament.  We will be keeping it easy, fast, and fun. We will be using an online format through tabroom.com, a program through the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA).

Students can compete in up to two events: one for Pattern A and one for Pattern B.  If the numbers warrant, we will have two divisions: 6th grade and 7/8th grade. If not, we collapse to Open Division but recognize top 6th graders. 

Pattern A: (choose one) Parli Debate, PoFo Debate, Impromptu

Pattern B: (choose one) Poetry, Prose, Oratory, Ed Comm

We offer shortened versions of OSAA high school events.  Read our invitation carefully to see the important rule differences.

Judging will be supplied by a trained student pool from the Cleveland Cannibals and other local high school teams. Coaches and teachers will be free to work with their students. 

Registration is 9:30-9:45 with Round One starting at 10:00.  We will have two rounds guaranteed and a third round where needed.
