HILL COUNTRY CHRISTMAS CLASSIC

TFA SPEECH & DEBATE TOURNAMENT

HOSTED BY BOERNE CHAMPION HS AND BOERNE HS

Please note that this one-day will follow the mandates laid out by the vIQT committee of TFA. This includes all events being virtual. PF, CX, and LD will not be allowed to cross-enter.

Coaches will not be allowed to fulfill multiple judging obligations to adhere to the screen time limitations adopted by TFA.

All entries will be wait-listed initially. This is to be respectful of the need to encourage regional participation first.

Extempers will need to be visible in front of their screen for the duration of their prep time.

Classrooms.cloud will be utilized for this tournament.

All Debate rounds including Extemp will be held synchronously. 

All IE events, except extemp will be fully asynchronous.

We will NOT break brackets in debate.

The November-December NSDA PF and LD topics will be utilized.

 PLEASE visit txfa.org and review the vIQT guidelines to ensure you are following the rules and recommendations for virtual tournaments.

Congress will utilize items 20-30 for prelims and 5-15 for finals from the fall TFA docket.
