Welcome!

MSQI is excited to host its first tournament of 2020-2021. Registration is open to MSQI schools only. 

Resolution:

The United States federal government should require all American citizens eighteen years or older to vote. 

Date and Location:

This tournament will take place on Friday, November 20 on the online debate platform https://tournaments.debate.nyc/

The tournament will run from 8:00am - 2:00pm. Students will debate two rounds. 

Registration:

Registration closes at 8:00pm on Tuesday, November 10. Schools will not be able to add students after this deadline A school should have no more than one maverick entry per division. If a school has two mavericks in a division, those two students must debate together as a team.

Coaches will need to check-in and verify their students and judges on the day of the tournament. Check-in will open at 8:00am and close at 8:45am on Friday, November 20. Coaches will need to verify their students and complete a Squad Check-in Form by 8:45am.  MSQI Debate Squad Check-in Document

All students and judges must have linked tabroom.com accounts to access the online debate platform.

Please make sure all registered students and judges have a linked Tabroom login and password prior to the tournament.
