 We are excited to host you online for this year's FlakeStakes tournament! The tournament will occur over QMSClassrooms, thanks to DJ Brynteson and the MDTA.

Please check in with your students and judges by 8am to ensure they are ready to participate. Make sure all judges and competitors have a linked tabroom.com account.

Formats:

Lincoln-Douglas (novice, varsity; JV if enough entries) — $10.00 per debater

Public Forum (novice, varsity; JV if enough entries) — $10.00 per team

Congressional debate (novice, varsity) — $5.00 per debater 

Topics:

Lincoln-Douglas — Resolved: The United States ought to provide a federal jobs guarantee.

Public Forum — Resolved: The United States should adopt a declaratory nuclear policy of no first use.

Super Congress Bills — A Bill to End Cash Bail && A Bill to Raise Taxes on Carbon Emissions 

Rounds

Rounds will begin at 8:30 am. We will have 5 rounds for both LD and PF. Varsity in these formats will break to a final. Congress will break to Super Congress. Awards will be conducted via asynchronous presentation.
