YHS would like to invite you to the virtual 21st  Annual YHS Lewis and Clark Interp Invitational on October 31, 2020.  This will be an asynchronous tournament with prerecorded video links added for each entry. There will be 3 rounds of all entries.

In general, our contest is geared for smaller schools.

For videos, performers must be in the frame of the camera for the entirety of the performance. They may not enter or exit the frame until the performance is finished. No editing of the audio or video is permitted. The camera must remain stationary for the performance.

The following SDHSAA events will be offered: Non-Original Oratory, Serious Reading, Storytelling, Poetry Reading, Humorous Reading, Duet Interpretation, and Readers Theatre.

The entry fees will be $6 per student in all individual events. Duo is $10 per entry, and Readers Theatre will be $12 per entry.

Students may double enter or triple enter if one of their entries is readers theater.

The schedule will be:

Monday October 26th at 4:30 PM-Entries freeze

Wednesday October 28th at 5:00 PM-Video links must be added for all entries

Thursday October 29th at 8:00 AM-Judging begins

Friday October 30th at 11:59 PM-Judging finishes

Saturday-Tabulation-Results posted at 12:00 PM (hopefully)

Monday-Awards mailed

Please provide one judge for every five entries or fraction thereof. There are a limited number of judges available for $75.00 per judge. Tournament hired judges are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to hire a judge.
