Welcome to the Virtual La Vernia UIL Speech and Debate Meet!

We will use the fall UIL LD topic and the criminal justice policy topic. 

We will offer two practice rounds of extemp/interp for competitors. We will utilize a blind semis or a cume of round 1 and 2 depending on entry numbers. Prose and poetry competitors need only one category for this tournament. LD debaters will be allowed to cross-enter in extemp. CX debate will utilize four rounds for all teams and then placements will be based on the record after 4 rounds. 

Judge Fees:

1 Judge for every 2 CX teams or portion of, 4 LD or portion of, 6 IE or portion of - Fee $75

We will offer awards that will be mailed after the tournament.
