The 2020 CEDA National Tournament will be at West Virginia University from April 4-7!

 

Here is the schedule:

Friday, April 3, 2020 - Arrival/Opening Award Ceremony

Saturday, April 4, 2020 - First Day of Preliminary Debates – on campus

Sunday, April 5, 2020 - Second Day of Preliminary Debates – on campus

Monday, April 6, 2020 - First Day of Elimination Debates & Awards – at hotel  

Tuesday, April 7, 2020 - Second Day of Elimination Debates – at hotel

Wednesday, April 8, 2020 - Remaining Teams Depart

 

Yes, there will be a novice breakout elimination debates!

The block rate is $149.00+tax/room for April 3-8, 2020. The block rate expires March 14, 2020 so please make your reservations before that.

 

The block at the hotel is called WVU Cross Examination Debate Association.

Travel Information

Airports: There is a regional airport in Morgantown (MGW) The closest large airport is Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) - about a 1.5-hour drive to WVU.

 

**For those staying in the mid-Atlantic after the NDT at JMU, you could choose to fly to one of the DC airports – Baltimore-Washington (BWI), Dulles (IAD) or Reagan (DCA) – which are about a 3 to 3.5-hour drive to WVU. It is about a 3-hour drive from JMU to WVU.

 

Transportation to campus: You will likely have a vehicle already, but Uber/Lyft is available to and from the campus on Saturday and Sunday.
