Welcome to the second league debate tournament for the WBFL.  

Note that there are only OPEN divisions in all debate events (so no novice divisions).

We are very fortunate that Loyola HS has stepped up to be a host at the last-minute, to save us from having to cancel the tournament.  Because of scheduling issues, however, this means that we are only holding 3 rounds during an AFTERNOON tournament.  For planning purposes, this is the schedule we’re working with:

Registration 1:30 to 2:00pm 

Judge Instructions 2:00-2:30pm

Parli Prep for Round 1 2:00-2:30pm

Debates start 2:30pm... (again, specific scheduling depends on event, etc. as we optimize the schedule)

Debates end by 8:15/8:30pm

Awards around 8:30 pm

Loyola High School is located at 1901 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90006.  But for parking, you will want to enter on Dewey Ave off of Pico Blvd.
