CVU Debate Invitational

2019 — Hinesburg, VT/US

Dear Debate Coaches,

You are invited to the 2019 CVU tournament on Saturday, November 16, 2019. We will debate the November/December public forum topic Resolved: The benefits of the United States federal government’s use of offensive cyber operations outweigh the harms.

We are hosting this year's CVU tournament on Tabroom.com, an online registration and tabulation website  for speech and debate. You can register by clicking the Register tab at top. You will need a Tabroom.com account. If the online registration process is a problem, you can email your entries to me.

You and your students do not need to create accounts, but if you choose to do so there are some benefits such as streamlined registration, faster dissemination of the pairings, the ability to use online balloting, and automatic attribution of NSDA points.

Please enter novice/novice teams under novice and other entries under open so we can pair round 1 appropriately. You can email me if you wish to flag Novice/Experienced teams or an A team.

If you have any judges you can bring, including coaches or parents, please be sure to include them in your registration. All judging helps greatly.

Please arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 am. Judge training will begin promptly at 8:30.

We will provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. I look forward to seeing you at the tournament.

Best Regards,

Kathryn Kernoff
