The New York City Urban Debate League and the Westfield Debate Team are honored to invite all female identifying debaters who are eligible to participate (via full qualification or eligibility to apply for an at-large invitation) in the Gold or Silver PF divisions of  the University of Kentucky's  Tournament of Champions to join us for a day of competitive debate in a supportive environment. We aim to provide exceptional judging and detailed feedback to all our participants as they prepare for the TOC.

Date: Sunday, March 24, 2019

Schedule: 

8:30am: Breakfast/Registration
9am-6:15pm: Rounds & Lunch
6:30pm: Awards

Location: The Round Robin will be held in NYC.

Topic:  Resolved: The United Nations should grant India permanent membership on the Security Council.

Students can debate with students from other schools (unless their coach objects). Priority will be given to existing all womxn's partnerships.

Attire: Casual

Fee: $100/team; $50/team from schools/institutions that are NYCUDL members. $100 fee if a judge cannot be provided.

Application Deadline: March 15, 2019 rolling invitations; Accepted teams will be notified no later than March 16, 2019. Any proceeds will assist the NYCUDL in continuing to make debate accessible.
