The second Montville Middle School Tournament will be on January 18, 2019. Registration will begin at 3:30 in the Montville Township High School Media Center. Competition will begin at 4:00 pm. Three rounds will be followed by a closing recognition of the top competitors. 

The tournament offers: in Speech: Prose Reading, Poetry Reading, and a combined Impromptu Speaking and Improvisational Acting; in Debate: Public Forum. All NSDA/NJSDL rules will be followed. Those rules can be found at njsdl.org.

The Public Forum topic will be: Resolved: The United States federal government should prioritize reducing the federal debt over promoting economic growth.
