Policy, Lincoln-Douglas, Big Questions Debate, and Public Forum will have 4 preliminary rounds on Saturday and then break to either Quarters or Semifinals depending on the entry size. Congressional Debate will have 2 sessions using the DISTRICT 3 FALL PRELIMINARY DOCKET and then break to a Super Congress which will use the DISTRICT 3 FALL SUPERS DOCKET. Both dockets can be found HERE.

Public Forum and Lincoln-Douglas will be using the NSDA November-December topics, Policy and Big Questions will be using the 2018-2019 NSDA topics, and Congress will use the D3 FALL DOCKET.

New to our tournament this year is Big Questions Debate. BQ offers the perfect opportunity for competitors to become interested in a rising debate format early in the competitive season. Those who finish in the top 4 in Big Questions at the Rocky Mountain Invitational are awarded free admission into the Rocky Mountain Big Questions tournament that we will be hosting December 15th.

Speech Events: $10 per speech entry

Debate Events: $10 for single entry events (LD, Congress, Big Questions)

Debate Events: $15 for partner events (CX, PF)

Judge Requirements:  1 for each 6 speech entries, 1 for each 4 LD, PF, or Big Questions entries, and 1 for each 2 CX entries.

As is our annual tradition, the tournament will double as a food drive to help provide assistance to families in need during the holiday season. In place of a team fee, we ask that your team members bring 5 pounds of food PER ENTRY.
