Event Description:

Combined Extemp: Topics will be taken from current events both in the US and around the world. Contestants will draw three questions, select one and have 30 minutes to prepare a speech. A drawing will be conducted at five-minute intervals. No consultation is allowed during prep time.Laptops will be allowed in the Prep Room, but no internet access is acceptable. Students are allowed the use of notes when speaking but can factor into the judge's decision. Speech Time Limit: 7 minutes maximum
