Event Description:

Novices are strictly defined as competitors in their first year of debate. Any second-year debaters, regardless of the amount of experience in their first year, are to be bumped up to JV or Varsity. 

The Kansas coaches caselist are the only allowable Affirmatives in the Novice division. Those Affirmatives include DACA, Family Visas, H1B, High Skilled Immigration, Path to Citizenship/Amnesty, and Refugees.
