Event Description:
Students may enter up to two regular speech events in each bracket (for a maximum total of four regular events), as well as one supplemental event. Contestants in Extemporaneous Speaking will have thirty minutes to prepare a seven minute speech answering a foreign or domestic current events question. Computer retrieval devices will be allowed in the preparation room, but no internet access will be available. The use of notes is allowed. All extempers are especially encouraged to consider entering Student Congress, as well.
