Event Description:
Students with be given a 7 min maximum time to prepare and give their speech. The student will determine the division of the 7 min between preparation and speaking. Students will choose between 3 topics that they will see before the speech, once a topic has been selected the time will stop. Time may also be stopped after prepartion is finsihed to allow the student to move to the front of the room to give the speech. Students will be ranked against each other. Rankings must be between (1-5), give multiple 5's to tie for last place, if more than 5 compeititors are in the round.
