Event Description:
This category is for anyone who has NOT competed at anytime in any event prior to this season.
Five minute maximum with a 30 second grace. (the five minutes includes prep time and speaking time - the student should speak longer than they prep)
Students will receive topics in the contest room. Prep and speaking time totals 5 minutes.
Middle School students may compete in this category (7-8th grade)
Topics are:
- Round 1: Single Words/Short Phrases
- Round 2: Paradox Prompts
- Round 3: Climate
- Round 4: Disney Quotations
