Event Description:

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Judge will take roll for the round as speakers wait outside the classroom; they will enter in one by one to preform; everyone stays in room until round ends.

2. Speakers may walk during their presentations; however, continuous “pacing” can be penalized.

3. Speakers have 2 minutes to prepare; judges verbally signal at 30-second intervals until 2 minutes has elapsed.

4. Presentations must continue for at least 1 minute; otherwise, the speaker is dropped one rank.

5. Judges should hand signal @ I, 2, 3, 4 minutes of elapsed time during speech, up to a maximum of 8:30.
