Event Description:

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Speaker(s) deliver a scripted speech from a published work of fiction, prose or poetry, that is humorous.

2. Speaker(s) must include an Introduction — it need not be memorized but it is included in the time limit.

3. Body movements are limited to a one-step radius; gestures should be “restrained,” not overly theatrical.

4. Speaker(s) will be marked down one place in the round if they exceed the 8:30 time limit.
