Event Description:
Impromptu speaking is a limited preparation event that takes place in the competition room. Judges will conduct the draw by clicking on the above link, copying the speaker number's topics, and pasting them into the chat room on NSDA Campus. This is a 7 minute even that may be divided up however speakers would like (1 minute of prep, 6 minutes of speaking, 2 minutes and 30 seconds of prep, 4 minutes and 30 seconds of speaking). When speaking each contestant is given a 30 second grace period if they go over their time.
