Event Description:
Contestants will deliver a speech of his or her own creation concerning Dr. King, his legacy, or an issue or concern which relates to his work or beliefs. The use of notes or manuscripts is permitted. Contestants must have a full manuscript of the speech available. Time Limit: 10 minutes. Double entry is permitted. Competitors may not use the same speech for both Dr. Martin Luther King original oratory and original oratory. All rounds of the event will be held at the E. L. Meyers High School.
