Good morning -

Thank you so much for being here this weekend! To make this a positive experience for everyone and to keep the classrooms tidy, please read the ENTIRE email and follow guidelines:

(1) Rooms: Do NOT sit at teacher desks, clean up all trash is cleaned at end of each round, and do NOT allow anyone to unplug anything in the rooms.

(2) Constructive criticism - all judges should write comments on ballots as well as verbal feedback. Please keep verbal feedback reasonably brief to avoid the tournament running late. Make sure to include positive feedback and any criticism should be specific (no value judgments like "That was great" or "That was terrible"; instead use comments like "work on speaking more clearly" and "give more specific evidence comparison on 'X' argument"). Thank you!

(3) Get rounds started on time - report to your judging room at least 10 mins. BEFORE the debate to make sure it starts on time. Email peninsulatournament@gmail.com with any issues you are having. Subject line should be "EVENT (Policy, LD, etc.): ROOM #, NAME, ISSUE (missing team, competitor, room locked, etc.)"

(4) Click "Start" when you get your ballot so that tab knows you are here and will start on time.

Thank you!
