As mentioned in previous announcements, we are requiring that the coach of each competing school fill out a form outlining the responsibilities of speech and debate programs to their kids.The deadline for submission is Sunday, September 14th, 2014. This form will be required for students to compete at the tournament. Only one authorized individual (coach/administrator) needs to fill out the form per school.
We are providing two methods of submission:
1. You may download the form at http://yale.tabroom.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Agt-Participation-Debate-Tournament-2014.pdf, filling it out either electronically or scanning the form filled out on paper, and sending it as an email attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please title your email as “[Name of your school] student participation form."
2. You may fill out an identical version of the form that we have provided online at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1jaWgXqF_YWtjRmWGm0knRFHAV8-H4eyIRQ92RYbOZzo/viewform. If you do choose to take this route, send as an email confirming that you have done so email@example.com, with the title as “[Name of your school] confirmation of electronic submission of student participation forms."
Once again, the deadline for submission after which entries are dropped is Sunday, September 14th. We are asking schools to check that they able to turn in the forms sooner (best by September 5th, the last day to assign names to TBA teams) so that they are not pushed up against this deadline, and so that they will not encounter any problems with getting the forms processed at the last minute. We will soon start contacting individual schools that have yet to fill out the form. Thanks very much, looking forward to seeing you all soon.
