Good afternoon!

You are receiving this email because you have registered entries or are a registered judge in the 2020 Middle School National Tournament. This notice is to inform you of some upcoming changes to this event:

1. The tournament has moved online! Please read more details about the different events offered, schedule, and procedures at www.speechanddebate.org/nationals.

2. We have created a way for parents and guardians to grant appropriate permissions for students under the age of 13 to participate in the Middle School Speech Challenge. Each student competitors' parent or guardian is required to fill out the revised Media Release form that gives appropriate consent. This means students must have been in the fifth, sixth, seventh, or eighth grade during 2019-20 to compete.

3. Because of the new events, new media release forms, and changed invoices, we are going to wipe registration and start anew. We will be deleting all current registrations this afternoon, and the updated registration system will open back up at msnats.tabroom.com on Monday, April 20 at 7:00 a.m. CT. We appreciate your understanding!

Please let us know if you have any questions!

Lauren Burdt
