Dear Judges,

We are noticing that rounds appear to be taking longer than usual. We are allowing one hour from the start of the debate until the decision is rendered on tabroom.com. The actual time of the round (including prep time) is 41 minutes. We suspect that the reason rounds are taking longer is "off-prep" searches for evidence. Can you please indicate to debaters that these requests need to be handled quickly, or done during crossfire, or even during prep time for the team that is searching for the card.

The common sense request is to move as quickly as possible and adhere to the time limits. If we do so, then an hour from the start of the debate until submission of a decision is reasonable. Please remember that if you give us the decision and points, you can submit and later revise and expand on your comments to teams and RFD.

Thanks so much,

PFD Tabulation
