ONW Forensics Invitational NIETOC
2019 — Olathe, KS/US

We are laying the groundwork to welcome you to our tournament on the first weekend of March. We are doing a couple of things differently than we have done in the past, so please note:
We are fortunate each year to welcome schools from all corners of Kansas (and sometimes Missouri). As such, we are NOT using the East Kansas legislation packet at this tournament. Instead, each school may submit up to 3 pieces of legislation to me via email (we are not using the Tabroom legislation system - just email me). If we receive more than 20 pieces, our coaching staff will narrow the packet down to a manageable size while protecting each school's ability to give authorship speeches. In order to be included, these need to be received by Thursday, February 14. You may, of course, reuse legislation that you have submitted to your district's packet or another prior event.
Please see the "Congress" tab on the tournament web site for more detailed information.
My team is somewhat smaller than it was when we first conceived of this monster - AND I believe that we get better quality results and feedback when our coaches are part of judging. Thus, each school is required to register one judge for each day of the tournament you are attending (you may bring more if the spirit moves you). We hope that you, as the head coach, will consider being that judge. If not, please ensure that whoever you put in the judge pool knows in advance that you've done this.
On Friday, you should be able to enter whatever you want in Congress, LD, and PFD. However, on Saturday, please limit yourself to 40 total entries. If we reach a point where I can let you have more than that, I will let you know.
There are no caps on the number of events an individual student may attempt. However, the size of our tournament often makes triple entry extremely challenging even for our most on-the-ball competitors, and triple entry with extemp may be especially challenging.-----------------------------
