In about 24 hours I'm going to consider entries "locked". That means:
1) If you drop an entry on Sept. 14 or later we will still expect you to pay your entry fee. We will waive the meal fees and the judge obligations up until week of the event but if you drop after Sept. 14 you very likely excluded someone who couldn't get reasonable plane fares. Of course, we make exceptions and if you have extenuating circumstances let me know and we can talk about it.
2) Proof of payment for your entries is due today. If you are on the waitlist it is either because an event is full (SHD, CX and LD) or you haven't sent me proof of payment. I feel like our policy is pretty reasonable - you can send me a copy of a PO, a copy of a check request, a picture of a check, etc. But our rooms are zero sum and proof of payment is a pretty good determiner of who actually plans to make the trip. I want to make sure every school gets at least one entry in the SHD, CX and LD but I can't do that if I don't know how many rooms I do not need in PF/IE/Congress. I also want those schools who are released from the waiting list to have max time to buy plane tickets - see above.
So folks, let's get it figured out. Help me be the best host I can be.
