Thanks everyone for attending MS City Champs!!  Now that you have rested :)...  save the date for our annual Spring Girls Debate Tournament & Workshop!!  Thank you to the Bella Abzug Leadership Institute (BALI) and Neonne Ameer for sponsoring! Just like the past several years... this is an amazing event!!! Debates! Workshops! Activities! Prizes! Keynote Speakers! Women's Leadership Training! All star female judging! All female debate debaters! And great prep for the State Champs since it will be on the same topic - India!  This is a public forum debate tournament - but all debaters should register ... that's why its called "public" - anyone can easily debate the format!  No worries if you are not ready to debate! We will have sample cases so you can just come and practice by an incredible girls debate community!!! Contact neonne@debate.nyc if any questions or need more information!

This tournament is sponsored by the Bella Abzug Leadership Institute (BALI) focuses on the personal growth, development, leadership and debate building for girls and young women in the tri-state area. A two week summer program filled with workshops, debate training, college preparation and much more. Applications are open to students who are going into 8th Grade in Fall 2019 all the way to those starting college. Please share this link with students who may be of interest. There's more information through the LINK as well

Normally for Girls Debate Tournament we do a girls/woman centered topic but I chose to be mindful of the states tournament and give students the chance to prep and practice beforehand.
