Hi PFers,

If this is your first tournament with elimination rounds, here's how they work: unless two teams have debated each other previously in the tournament, you are to flip a coin to determine who's pro and who's con. One team will flip the coin, while the other team will call it in the air. The team that wins the coin flip gets to choose either if they want to be pro or con or if they want to speak first or second. The other team chooses what the first team didn't choose.

For example, Team A and Team B flip. Team A flips the coin, Team B calls tails. The coin lands on heads. Team A won, so they choose to speak second. Team B then chooses to be con.

I know it's a little confusing, so if you have questions don't hesitate to ask. I'm wearing my pink hat today.
