$8 per student per event

Tuesday, February 4, @ 3;00 pm

 

Deadline to turn in your NMAA Verification of Eligibility form to Sherri.

Tuesday, February 18, at 3:30 pm

 

  • Deadline to complete your entry on tabroom.com. 

  • Web Registration Ends –There may be no additions made to your entries at this time. You may drop students with no penalty assessed until Tues, Feb 25 at 3:30. Because the website registration is closed, you must email Bill (bill.torres@cottonwoodclassical.org) with any drops or switches after this date.

  • Judge Strikes: From the NMSDA Manual: Each NMSDA member school in good financial standing may submit the names of up to three people whom they strike as judges for their team at the state tournament. This list must be submitted to the NMSDA president by Feb 18. A school wishing to strike a judge must have provided the requisite number of judges for the tournament. 

Tuesday, Feb 25, by 3:30:

  • Drop fees of $8 per entry will be accrued on and after this date at 3:30. Email Bill with any drops. Switches may still be made with no drop fee until Weds Feb 26 at midnight (IE, drop fees apply on Thursday, Feb 20 at 12:01 am). 

Wednesday, Feb 26

  • List of judges due @ 5:00 pm. Please email Jose (jsamora@spxabq.org) with a list of your affiliated judges. We need to make sure we have a list of names with affiliations for the judge bond and for assigning unbiased judges.  If you have recruited a judge who does not know your students, please note that on the list. 

Thursday, February 27

Registration at Volcano Vista from 2:30-3:00

If something happens to delay your arrival, please text Jose at 505-463-5351. Please also call or text Bill at 505-280-9437 with any drops as soon as possible. Knowing drops ahead of time is the only way for the tournament to run on time! 

  • A $25 drop fee will be incurred if a drop is made or a no-show occurs on or after this date. This fee is because a drop on the day of is directly responsible for causing a tournament to go later than it needs to. 

  • A no-show is also considered a drop, so make sure all of your entries are correct. 

  • The $200 judge bond check or cash is due. 

  • $50 annual dues must be paid, if not already paid.

  • Entry fees

  • Contact info for all coaches

  • Copies of all oratories, informative, scripts

  • Your team will NOT compete without the above requirements.
