MSPDP

Topics for the tournament:

Rounds 1 & 2: Adolescents should have the right to make their own medical decisions.

Rounds 3 & 4:  Standardized tests used to make school admission decisions do more harm than good.

Here is an anticipated schedule for Monday's (1/20) rounds. 

8:00am - Arrive/Registration. We will register in Rugby Hall. Teams should meet in Rugby Auditorium. Please arrive on time for the demonstration debate. We will want to pair the round while the demo debate is happening. After the debate the Team USA coaches and debaters will be available to answer questions if any parents need information about trying out for Team USA.

8:30am - Team USA Demonstration debate using the MSPDP format.

9:30am - Release pairings for Round 1 in Tabroom

10:00am - Round 1

11:00am - Release pairings for Round 2 in Tabroom 

11:30am - Round 2

12:00pm - Lunch

1:00pm - Release pairings for Round 3 in Tabroom

1:30pm - Round 3

3:00pm - Release pairings for Round 4 in Tabroom

3:30pm - Round 4

4:45pm - Awards

I've buffered in 30 minutes between round release to account for coaches to grab paper, arrive, etc. 

Please make sure you have 1 judge for every 2 teams (or fraction thereof) available for each round. This is the only way debate tournaments can work :)
