2019 Railsplitter Speech & Debate Tournament Schedule

Friday, December 20, 2019 & Saturday, December 21, 2019

This schedule is tentative and will be accelerated when possible.

Friday registration will take place in the Lincoln Commons from 3:45 PM – 4:00 PM.

Saturday registration (for teams participating only on Saturday) will take place in the Lincoln Commons from 8:30 AM – 8:45 AM.

Friday, December 20, 2019: Individual Events

Round 1: 4:30 pm

Round 2: 5:45 pm

Round 3: 7:15 pm

Round 4 (Finals): 8:30 pm

*Extemp draw will take place 30 minutes prior to the start of each round.

Saturday, December 21: Debate Events

Congressional Debate:

Session 1: 9:00 - 12:00 pm

Session 2: 1:00 - 4:00 pm

Public Forum Debate:

Round 1: 9:00 am

Round 2: 10:00 am

Round 3: 11:30 am

Round 4: 12:45 pm

Round 5: 2:00 pm

Out-rounds: 3:15 pm
