Judging

Judges:

Each school must provide a minimum of 1 Judge per every 16 entries across all events.

In addition, the entourage rule will be in effect. All individuals contributing to the competitive success of a team (i.e. coaches and sponsors) MUST be available to judge the 12pm and 2pm rounds.

If a school fails to provide judging to cover their burden or fails to appear to their assigned round, then the Tab Room will drop their best currently placed entries until the school has adequate judging to cover their burden.

Second-year speech and debate students with 150 NSDA points are considered qualified judges. We will gladly accept as many as you’re willing to offer.

We will attempt to place those with relevant event experience in that event, specify that when registering them online.

ALL school Judges MUST have linked Tabroom.com accounts and be prepared to fill out online ballots.
