Tournament of Champions

Our contest has been designated as a bid tournament for the University of Kentucky Tournament of Champions in speech events. The TOC is a fantastic opportunity to compete on the national-level. The following speech events are offered at the TOC: DI, Duo Interp, Extemp, HI, Informative, Oral Interp (Poetry and Prose), Oratory, and POI. 

Students who place high enough in the tournament in a TOC-sanctioned event will qualify to attend the TOC on April 28-30, 2018 at the University of Kentucky. If there are fewer than 25 competitors in an event, the top 3 qualify. If there are 25 or more, all finalists qualify.

While our tournament offers Poetry and Prose as separate events, getting a bid in one or the other fully qualifies a student for the TOC in Oral Interp.
