Judging Obligations

V & JV Policy -- 4 rounds for 1 team, 6 rounds for 2 teams, 10 rounds for 3 ... etc, Nov Policy-- 4 rounds for 1 team, 6 rounds for 2 teams, 10 rounds for 3...etc

(You have seperate obligations for Novice Policy and Varsity/JV Policy) 

LD Debate-- 4 rounds for 1 entry, 5 for 2 entries, 6 for 3 entries,

10 for 4 entries, 11 for 5 entries 

Public Forum -- 1 judge for every 3 entries

Congress -- 1 judge for every 8 entries (judges may be used in IE)

Individual Events -- 1 judge for every 10 entries (judges may be used in Cong)

If we break to a partial out-round then judges are obligated for the partial out-round and the following out-round.

Friday Congress--$10

Saturday Congress --$12

Speech Entry--$12 ($24 for Duo)

Public Forum Team (novice or varsity) --$45

Lincoln-Douglas Entry--$60

Varsity Policy Entry--$90

JV Policy Entry - $65
Novice Policy Entry--$60

Judging Fees 

Due to the proximity of college finals week it is extremely difficult to hire judges. We will hire quality judges for the tournament but because of exams it is difficult to get them on board and that challenge increases our cost of bringing in judges.

Congress Hired Judge--$100

Speech Hired Judge--$175

Public Forum Hired Judge--$200

Lincoln-Douglas Hired Judge--$50 per round

Policy Hired Judge--$50 per round 

We hope that you can bring the most qualified judges possible. Providing students with experienced judges will only enhance their experience. Likewise hiring qualified judges is costly!
