2018 Ivy Street Round Robin

2018 — Atlanta, GA/US

Ivy Street Round Robin

January 24-25, 2018

All rounds this year will be held at Emory University.  On the right sidebar, you can find a campus map for our locations.  You will want to park in Fishburne and you will receive your parking pass at registration.   The main headquarters of the tournament will be the Harland Cinema in the Alumni Memorial University Center (AMUC).  Debates will be in the AMUC and the School of Medicine (SOM).

Our competitors this year is stacked with nine highly competitive teams.

Altamont (AL) — Isabel Coleman & David Zell

Blake School (MN) — Nicholas Barra & Morgan Swigert

Columbus (GA) — Mary Chen & Gwyn Rush

Cypress Bay (FL) — Andrew Briceno & Ethan Silvey

Flanagan (FL) — Eden Medina & Christian Sheerer

Millburn (NJ) — Jai Bansal & James Chen

Oxbridge Academy (FL) — Alyson Brusie & Robbie Linck

Plano West Senior (TX) — Jacqueline Wei & Jennifer Lin

Walt Whitman (MD) — Rabhya Mehrotra & Elisa McCartin

Each round will have two judges, so that every team will be judged by 16 different judges.  We spend a lot of time building the panels for the round robin to diversify your students experience.  We will not repeat any judging for any team and we even strive to not repeat panels.

For as much as Marist School's Speech & Debate Program values quality debates, we also value delicious food and believe in fostering a fun environment for your students to excel.  We will provide some of Atlanta's finest food for your meals during the round robin for all judges and competitors.

You can find the finalized schedule on the right sidebar.

On Wednesday evening, we also invite your team to attend the Ivy Street Social - a unique experience that allows your team to take a break from the highly competitive tournament and enjoy each other's company at an Escape Game in the area.  For more information, click the right sidebar.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make your round robin more enjoyable.  I look forward to hosting you in January.
