PCFL Showcase Septober at The Hill School

2017 — Pottstown, PA/US

Hello PCFL moderators and welcome back to a new year.

Our first PFCL tournament of the season is scheduled for October 7, 2017. Special thanks to Mr. Joshua Schmidt for hosting us at the Hill School. This is a PCFL tournament for PCFL member schools. We will offer both varsity and junior varsity levels of competition.  Registration fees are $1 per student.

Registration is via Tabroom.com and is due by 5pm on Thursday, October 5, 2017.  No exceptions! Remember that nuisance fines are in force this season.

Location info
Tournament attendees should put 860 Beech Street, Pottstown PA into their GPS devices. That leads to the Gatehouse. Just a bit away on Beech street is the main parking lot for the Center For The Arts (CFTA). That parking lot is where buses should drop attendees off and cars and vans should park. Attendees then proceed directly into the CFTA for registration. Buses should contact Hill Security at (610) 327-3060, who will direct them where to park (probably along Beech St just across from Edgewood Cemetery, at the location marked on the map).

Schedule
This will be our first ever Showcase September event where we will be running mock rounds of each event featuring a seasoned competitor.  If you know that you have any experienced students competing at this tournament please email me.  We will need a student in each speech event and 2 teams/individuals for all 3 debate events.
