New Roads Middle School is pleased to host the Pacific Coast Debate League's first tournament of the season on Saturday, October 21, 2017.

ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL TEAMS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND REGARDLESS OF LEAGUE

Debaters should arrive on campus at 3131 Olympic Blvd, Santa Monica, 90404 no later than 7:45AM. Coaches are responsible for making sure their debaters are present before registering on site. 

Carpooling and use the Expo train is strongly encouraged as parking is limited. 

Lunch will be available for purchase.

Judge training will be in the morning. Schools are required to bring 1 judge for every 2 teams. Schools are highly encouraged to bring additional judges as schools new to the program will not have many trained judges for the first couple of rounds.

The US should guarantee free speech on private social media.
