Registration

In-person registration will be at the Campbell House, on Friday evening, from 7-9 pm in the Oak Room.

You may also register virtually by sending Lincoln (lincolngarrett49@gmail.com) an email by 9 pm confirming your entry and registration.

*NOTE* - Patterson Hall (Public Forum) does NOT appear on the map proper - it is to the left of Blazer Hall, on the far left side of the map, noted by the yellow dot on the map.

Parking

Parking is available near many of the buildings on campus. Most employee lots and student commuter lots are accessible and available on weekends. Permits are not required after 3:30 p.m. Friday until 5:00 a.m. Monday. Please do not park in any marked spots (those with VIP signage, emergency designation, etc.).

If you cannot find parking in immediate vicinity of your building:

There are also garages on South Limestone that get you relatively close to BE, POT, CB.

There is a garage off Avenue of Champions near the Qdoba that gets you close to Patterson & Blazer.

There is a garage on Rose Street across from the Funkhouser parking lot.

Welcome Message:

The first annual National Speech and Debate Season Opener will be hosted Saturday September 9^th-Monday September 11^th, on the University of Kentucky campus. The Season Opener will be a full-service tournament offering the entire complement of speech and debate events. A Public Forum Round Robin will be offered Friday September 8^th. The tournament will be a TOC qualifier in all events including octofinals in Public Forum, quarterfinals in Policy, Finals in Lincoln Douglas, Top 6 in Congress, as well as a qualifier in all speech events.  Entries will open on June 1. A full invitation will be posted this Spring.
