The Tournament was postponed due to an ice storm on its traditional weekend so this is our 2nd shot at the tournament.  You do need to re-register if you want to attend the tournament on its new weekend!  IN LD WE WILL BE USING THE MARCH/APRIL TOPIC!  With NSDA districts and state around the corner for many schools, this is a great opportunity to get in lots of high-quality rounds on the new LD topic.

Heritage Hall School cordially invites you the 6th annual J.W. Patterson Invitational Debates.  This year we will be offering a varsity policy division (TOC finals bid and Baker points), novice policy and Lincoln-Douglas divisions.  This year we will continue to have mutual preference judging in the varsity policy division and hire a number of qualified judges to improve the quality and depth of the judging pool.  We also believe tournaments should have adequate pre-round coaching time and enforce judge and debater participation in the NDCA wiki and judge philosophy wiki.

The tournament will be held at Heritage Hall’s 105-acre campus at 1800 North West 122^nd Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  The goal of this tournament is to provide quality debates, superior hospitality, and to honor Oklahomans who have shaped and molded academic debate.  The tournament is named after Dr. J.W. Patterson, native Oklahoman and founder of the Tournament of Champions.  We hope to provide an enjoyable tournament experience with quality judging and hospitality.  We would love for you to join us.
