On behalf of Blue Springs HS NSDA, welcome to a new season of high school speech and debate competition. We cordially invite you and your students to compete in the annual Wildcat Classic at Blue Springs High School on October 9th and 10th, 2020.

Blue Springs High School will host the varsity portion of the tournament this year, offering the following debate events: Champ and Reg Policy Debate, Champ and Reg Lincoln-Douglas Debate, and Champ and Reg Public Forum Debate. In addition, we will host the following speech events: United States Extemporaneous Speaking, International Extemporaneous Speaking, Original Oratory, Congress, Informative Speaking, Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, and POI. For the novice portion, please contact Marc Baney at jbaney@bssd.net and Katie Rucnski at krucinski@bssd.net.

Please reserve your entries on Tabroom by Wednesday, September 30th. Additionally, please review the following information specific to the 2020 tournament:

1. All registration and scheduling will be through wildcatnsda.tabroom.com. Entries not entered through Tabroom will not be accepted. We will waitlist students when they are first registered. Rounds will be conducted through the NSDA Campus platform.

2. We are hosting all IEs, including Extemp and Congress, asynchronously. We will provide live viewing opportunities via NSDA Campus for all IE semifinalists and finalists. Those viewing opportunities will run concurrently with debate.

3. Please remember to extend grace to us and to each other.

Sincerely,
