YG Bay Area Speech and Debate Academy is excited to celebrate the start of the new school year with our International Online Speech Championship tournament for Elementary School students (2nd-5th grade). 

This tournament will take place online via Zoom. We will send the link prior to the tournament. 

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

Please note: We have scheduled breaks in between each round for 30 minutes - and we strongly encourage students to get up from their computers to rest their eyes and stretch their legs for this time!

8:30 - 9:30AM: Registration. (Please check into the "Check-In" Room and confirm you are present. You must do this before 9:30am or you will not be able to participate.)
9:30 - 10:00AM: Judging Instructions (Every judge must attend, as this is when we will check you in for the tournament - judges who miss this training will be fined $50)
10:00 - 10:30AM: Welcome Assembly
10:30 - 11:45AM: Round 1
11:45AM - 12:15PM: Break
12:15 - 1:30PM: Round 2
1:30 - 2:00PM: Break
2:00 - 3:15PM: Round 3
4:00PM: Award Ceremony
