OSAA District 7 and 8

Hello all,
Welcome to the District7/8 State Qualifying tournament tabroom page. Please make sure you review theOSAA Speech & Debate Handbookso that you are up to speed on all of the rules and guidelines for all of the events and the way that the tournament will be run, including the number of entries each school is allowed. Each school can enter up to 29 students in IE events, 3 per IE event,and up to 3 per debate event (entry limits for IEs areseparatefrom debate entry limits). Please encourage as many students as you can to compete; the more entries we have meansthe more we cansendto statefor our district. In the following weeks, expect an email from me with details concerning which events we could use more studentsacrificescompetitors for. For IE's, please ensure that all speeches are titled and specific to the topic of the speech or interp on tabroom. Also, we are required to upload manuscripts and bibliographies to the correspondingdropbox links below. Please submit them by Wednesday the 4th AFTER completing a plagiarismcheck on your student's manuscripts. This is to ensure that any possibleprotests are be resolved beforeStateand also so thatwe are sending students whose material is airtight and logistically sound.
