Clothing Bank Opportunity

We love the opportunities for personal growth that come with competing in speech and debate, but the reality of affording tournament style clothing for a professional look can be a barrier to participation for many students in New Mexico, especially when it's easy to outgrow last year's jacket, trousers, or dress shoes. 

You can help by donating your clean and gently used tournament clothing and shoes to the Cave Classic clothing bank.  

Drop off your donations of jackets, trousers, skirts, dresses, blouses, shirts, ties, and dress shoes with LCHS team members in the cafeteria on Friday, January 17th. We will organize donated items for students to browse and take away with them by the end of the tournament. 

Because we are hosting middle school students, this could be their chance to acquire the professional clothing that inspires confidence, offered graciously for their benefit. Why leave clothing in your closet that is too small?

Remember how savvy you felt in that red jacket before you outgrew it? Well, you can pass that feeling on to another person when you donate it to the tournament clothing bank.
