We are so excited to have many of your returning to our tournament again this year! Please note the schedule, events and expectations for judging, etc.

This tournament is designed for students to be able to compete in both Debate and Speech events. Take this as an opportunity for your students to try new events and rack up some points for NSDA right off the bat.

NOVICE LD will use the OPEN Topic per precedence....

we will use the new internet rules per the uhsaa debate handbook.

we will Not use the pilot pf rules.

We will use the Beehive Congress Docket for congressional Debate. 

Entries: 4 individuals per school will be admitted and waitlist those over it, admitting waitlisted as room is available.

Cost $4 per single person event, $8 per double person event

$15 per school

Saturday                                                                                   Judges: Must have an online Tabroom

Check in 7am                                                                             account and a device to judge on.

Judge Instructions 7:30am                                                          Training information will be sent out

Round 1 Debate 8-10 am                                                            a few days before for judges as well.

Session 1 Congress 8-10am

Round 1 Speech: 10-11am                                                         While we encourage double and triple entry,

Lunch 11-11:30                                                                         the tournament will not be held up, so do 

Round 2 Debate: 11:30-1:30pm                                                so at your own risk. We do give plenty of 

Session 2 Congress: 11:30-1:30pm                                           time to make sure that they can make it 

Round 2 Speech: 1:30-2:30pm                                                  to their rounds and keep up.

Round 3 Debate 2:30-4:30pm

Session 3 Congress 2:30-4:30pm

Round 3 Speech 4:30-5:30pm

Awards: 6pm
