Resolutions:

PF: Resolved: The benefits of the United States federal government’s use of offensive cyber operations outweigh the harms. (Nov/Dec)

LD: Resolved: In the United States, colleges and universities ought not consider standardized tests in undergraduate admissions decisions. (Sept/Oct)

Costs (per Article XI Section 3 of CFL Bylaws):

Entry Fees: $11 per student

Nuisance Fees:

Drops after drop deadline: $21 per dropped entry

Drops less than 24 hours before the tournament: $53 per entry 

Judge Requirements (per the CFL Board Manual Article XXVI)

LD: 1 judge for every 3 entries 

PF: 1 judge for every 3 entries

Tentative Schedule - Schedule may be adjusted, depending on the number of entries at the tournament. A finalized schedule will be posted/announced the week of the tournament. 

 Schedule:

Check in: 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM

Schools not checked in in person by 8:30 AM by their legal chaperone will be dropped from the tournament

Lincoln Douglas Schedule (Double Flighted)

8:30 - Round 1 Pairings and Ballots Released

8:45– Lincoln Douglas Round 1 must start. Both flights must arrive at the room by this time.

10:40- Round 2 Pairings and Ballots Released

11:00- Lincoln Douglas Round 2 must start. Both flights must arrive at the room by this time.

12:40PM- Lunch Break. Students, judges, and coaches must remain on campus.

1:40- Round 3 Pairings and Ballots Released

1:55- Lincoln Douglas Round 3 must start. Both flights must arrive at the room by this time.

3:50- Round 4 Pairings and Ballots Released

4:15- Lincoln Douglas Round 4 must start. Both flights must arrive at the room by this time.

Public Forum Schedule (Double Flighted)

8:30 - Round 1 Pairings and Ballots Released

8:45– Public Forum Round 1 must start. Both flights must arrive at the room by this time.

10:40- Round 2 Pairings and Ballots Released

11:00- Public Forum Round 2 must start. Both flights must arrive at the room by this time.

12:40PM- Lunch Break. Students, judges, and coaches must remain on campus.

1:30- Round 3 Pairings and Ballots Released

1:45- Public Forum Round 3 must start. Both flights must arrive at the room by this time.

3:50- Round 4 Pairings and Ballots Released

4:15- Forum Round 4 must start. Both flights must arrive at the room by this time.

Awards for all events will happen after all Round 4 ballots have been submitted.
